All of the infants in our program enjoy an attentive environment created by teachers who are dedicated and loving. The infant program includes an enriching curriculum focused on emotional growth as well as fine- and gross- motor development. It is a light-hearted and secure environment, where song and games, baby sign, reading and play abound.

  • All of our classroom teachers are full time, to create a relationship-based environment where babies feel connected and safe, so that they are comfortable to explore, grow and learn.
  • Each parent receives an individualized check-in at the end of the day with a written report of milk, diaper, and activity information.
  • Once the babies start solid foods at home, they can participate in our natural food program of Infant Rice and Oatmeal cereals, as well as pureed fruits and vegetables prepared on site.
  • Cloth diapers and wipes are provided.
  • Children are free to move around the classroom so that they have a chance to develop all of their gross motor skills.
  • Fine motor skills are also practiced through a variety of textures, toys, and age-appropriate snacks.
  • Cognitive skills are enhanced through reading books every day, listening to music and singing at transition times, baby sign, and talking to the babies.
  • In spring, summer and fall the infants enjoy a visit to our playground out back for fresh air and a buggy ride.
  • All of our classrooms are conducted predominantly in Spanish, fostering mental flexibility, self-esteem and creativity.
  • Research in early childhood education proves that the first 3 years of life are crucial to a child's lifelong aptitude for learning. All children are recognized as individuals with personalities that are unique and special. We celebrate their individuality on a daily basis!
