Our Toddler Program is a fun place for toddlers to explore their five senses and the Spanish language. Their daily routine includes a wide variety of hands-on activities, as well as bilingual music, bilingual stories, and interactive games.
- All of our classroom teachers are full time, to create a relationship-based environment where children feel connected and safe, so that they are comfortable to explore, grow and learn.
- Each parent receives an individualized check-in at the end of the day with a written report of milk, diaper, potty training, and activity information.
- Potty training is offered every day at every diaper change time.
- Cloth diapers and wipes are provided.
- Children are given a wide variety of gross motor development activities. In the playground there is a variety of climbing equipment, bicycles, sports equipment and a swing set. In the classroom they have dancing time, arts and crafts, yoga classes, and music circle every week, as well as other group games.
- At the Toddler level we introduce the tools necessary for conflict resolution. We do not use time-outs or any other disciplinary techniques. Instead, we use redirection and offering options for the children to make their own choices.
- All of our classrooms are conducted predominantly in Spanish, fostering mental flexibility, self-esteem and creativity.
- The toddlers in our program learn about the world around them through sensory and interactive activities that are fun, child-focused, and educational.
